Importing Customers
Bring your customers into Repwyn so you can request reviews from them. Import via CSV, integrations, BCC, manual entry, or the API (Pro and Elite).
Manual Entry
Add one customer at a time. Fill in their name, email, phone, company, location (if you use locations), tags, and signup date. You can optionally schedule a review request immediately and choose the channel (email or SMS), reminders, and review page. Manual entry is ideal for a few customers or a quick one-off add; use CSV or an integration for larger lists.
CSV Upload
Upload a CSV file to import up to 1,000 customers at once. The import runs in the background; you will see a confirmation when it is scheduled, and customers appear in your list shortly after.
- Go to Customers and click Add.
- Open the Upload CSV tab.
- Click Download Template to get a sample file with the correct headers.
- Fill in your data and save as CSV (UTF-8).
- Click Upload CSV and select your file.
CSV Fields

first_name | The customer's first name. |
last_name | The customer's last name. |
email | The customer's email address. |
tags | Comma-separated list of tag slugs. Tags must exist in your account and be for customers. |
signup_date | The customer's start date, YYYY-MM-DD format. |
unsubscribed_at | The date the customer unsubscribed, if any, YYYY-MM-DD format. Leave blank for subscribed customers. |
address_line_1, address_line_2 | Address fields. |
city, state, postal_code | Location fields. |
Each row must have either an email or a phone number. Duplicate emails or phone numbers in your account will update the existing customer rather than creating a new one.
Migrating from another review platform? Add an unsubscribed_at column with the date each customer opted out. Repwyn will skip review requests for those customers and respect their unsubscribed status.

BCC
BCC your account's review-request email address when sending invoices or receipts to customers, and Repwyn will pick up the customer details automatically.
